- Hello...My family just wanted to say hello to all our new neighbors...we recently moved in and enjoying the hospitality of the area.

The Brown/ Garris/ Soerensen family moved into their new home in Auburn Lakes on May 1, 2010.
The Parents – Geoffrey Brown and Tia Garris met 4 years ago while working on a large scale IT implementation project in the waste industry. Geoff has a management background in aviation, rail and waste industries, and is currently looking for new opportunities in Sales and/or Account Management. Tia recently started working for Bourque Logistics in The Woodlands as a Program/Project Manager, where she manages software implementations and application support. Both Geoff and Tia were very athletic growing up so they enjoy spending time outside with the kids, as well as attending cultural events in the area.
The Kids – Geoff’s two oldest children live with them part-time. Nicholas is 12 years old and is in Junior High. He loves football, fishing, and playing the trumpet. Jordyn is 11 years old and is in the 6th grade. She loves volleyball, cheerleading and basketball, and also plays the trumpet. Geoff and Tia’s son, Parker, is 2.5 years old and loves all sports, anything Spider-man, and being outside. He attends childcare in The Woodlands.
The Grandmother – Rose Soerensen, (or Grossi as we call her) is originally from Luzern, Switzerland. She lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for 27 years then returned to her native country in 1990. In 2006, she moved to The Woodlands in order to be closer to her grandchildren. She is happily retired and enjoys sewing, quilting, and traveling.
The extras – Tia is a Lead Scentsy Consultant. Scentsy Wickless Candles began in 2003 with the powerfully simple idea of aromatic candles – decorative warmers with wax melted by the heat of a light bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame. Tia wanted a safer, more environmentally-friendly way to combat the diaper pail and cat box odors, but didn’t like buying so many plug-ins and other plastic-encased fresheners. She keeps many items in stock, and hosts an Open House monthly, so feel free to contact her at (832) 559-1044 or check out her website to learn more: www.scents4texas.com.
