Many of us have pets that enrich our lives in countless ways - dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, whatever...this page is devoted to those pets.Please keep the following common-sense tips in mind: * Be a responsible pet-owner and have your pet neutered, vaccinated and registered with Harris County. * ALWAYS have your pets' collar and tags (with current information) on your pet! They can dart out the door, break a leash etc...and be gone before you know it. This is the only way neighbors can help get them back home safe and sound. Also look into micro-chipping your pet - it is very inexpensive and is a permanent method of identification that cannot get lost! * If your pet is a Houdini impersonator, please do your best to find their escape routes and keep them in your backyard. With an increase in traffic, anything can happen to your furry baby! * If you have a large or strong dog PLEASE only allow someone fully capable of controlling them to walk them! If you (or your child) can not fully control your dog you are risking your pets wellbeing as well as your neighbors pets, children, etc... Even if your pet is loving and docile when with you, remember it is still an animal and around other people, children or other animals many pets, even well-trained ones, can be unpredictable. Occasionally one of our beloved pets gets lost. If you have either lost or found a pet, please call or email and we will make every effort to put the "founds" in touch with the "losts". While we cannot pick up found animals or deliver them to the rightful owners, we will act as a liason between the "lost" pet owners and the "found-a-pet" residents and will do our best to get that beloved cat, dog or whatever back to his or her home.
